Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act grants self-perceived gender identity

পাকিস্তানের ট্রান্সজেন্ডার ব্যক্তি (অধিকার সুরক্ষা) আইন, ২০১৮ চিকিৎসা বা রোগ নির্ণয়ের প্রয়োজন ছাড়াই স্ব-অনুভূত লিঙ্গ পরিচয়ের আইনি স্বীকৃতি দেয়, যা সরকারি নথি সেই অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তনের অনুমতি দেয়। আইনটিতে বৈষম্য ও হয়রানির বিরুদ্ধে বিধানও রয়েছে, তবে এর সীমাবদ্ধতা রয়েছে যেমন ভিক্ষাবৃত্তির জন্য ট্রান্সজেন্ডার ব্যক্তিদের ব্যবহার অপরাধীকরণ এবং অন্যান্য বৈষম্যমূলক আইনি বিধান সমাধানে ব্যর্থ হওয়া।
