Affirmations ist das größte LGBTQ+ Gemeindezentrum in Michigan und dient als Bildungsstätte, Anwalt und Inkubator für queere Kultur, Verbindung und Widerstandsfähigkeit. Es bietet Programme und Ressourcen für Menschen mit vielfältigen Identitäten, darunter Selbsthilfegruppen, psychische Gesundheitsdienste, eine Lebensmittelausgabe und Gemeindeveranstaltungen. Das Zentrum bedient die Metropolregion Detroit und heißt alle willkommen, die geoutet sind, sich hinterfragen oder Verbündete sind.
