Rainbow Railroad hilft gefährdeten LGBTQI+-Menschen, durch Notfallumsiedlung, Krisenintervention, finanzielle Unterstützung und andere Formen der Hilfe in Sicherheit zu gelangen. Seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2006 hat die Organisation über 45.000 LGBTQI+-Personen geholfen, Sicherheit zu finden. Die Organisation ist als gemeinnützige Organisation in den USA und Kanada registriert.
