Kenya report documents over 2,100 rights violations against sexual and gender minorities

ग्यारह केन्याई संगठनों की एक रिपोर्ट में अक्टूबर 2023 से सितंबर 2024 के बीच यौन और लिंग अल्पसंख्यकों के खिलाफ हिंसा, उत्पीड़न और भेदभाव के 2,100 से अधिक मामलों का दस्तावेजीकरण किया गया। ट्रांसजेंडर व्यक्तियों ने 708 मामलों के साथ सबसे अधिक उल्लंघन की सूचना दी। रिपोर्ट में सरकार से भेदभावपूर्ण दंड संहिता प्रावधानों को निरस्त करने और LGBTIQ+ पहचान को अपराधीकरण करने वाले कानूनों को अस्वीकार करने का आह्वान किया गया है।
