Transgender District
Il Transgender District è il primo distretto transgender legalmente riconosciuto al mondo, fondato nel 2017 da tre donne trans nere. Comprende sei isolati nel sud-est del Tenderloin e due isolati di 6th Street a San Francisco, preservando e celebrando la storia e la cultura transgender. Il distretto fornisce spazio comunitario, advocacy e supporto, incluso il lancio del Riot Fund per affrontare le lacune di finanziamento e costruire stabilità finanziaria per le organizzazioni guidate da persone trans.
