Scotland's hate crime law commences, adding transgender identity protections

La legge scozzese Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act è entrata in vigore il 1° aprile 2024, aggiungendo l'età e l'identità transgender alle caratteristiche protette. I crimini d'odio registrati sono aumentati del 63% nei primi sei mesi, con aumenti significativi nei crimini legati a disabilità ed età.
