The African Queer Youth Initiative (AQYI) is a pan-African, youth-led organization that champions the rights, wellbeing, and leadership of LGBTQ+ young people across Africa. It runs programs in economic justice, advocacy and activism, and knowledge management and research, all co-designed with the communities they serve. AQYI also provides crisis and emergency response support and maintains a network spanning East, West, Southern, and Central Africa.
