African Trans Network
The African Trans Network (ATN) is a pan-African continental network for trans movements in Africa, with members from all five subregions of the continent. It works to unite, strengthen, and empower trans movement building, facilitating support for local and grassroots trans movements to advocate for the rights, safety, healthcare, and representation of transgender Africans. The network also engages in global human rights advocacy, such as participating in UN Human Rights Council sessions and Trans Advocacy Week.
