Bridge to Equality
Bridge to Equality is a project that aims to improve the protection of human rights for LGBTQ people in Sri Lanka by using international human rights law to enable justice actors, activists, and human rights defenders to improve justice outcomes. It focuses on overcoming challenges imposed by the current legal framework and promoting and protecting the rights of LGBTI people. The project is jointly implemented by DAST, National Transgender Network Sri Lanka, and Young Out Here Trust Sri Lanka in partnership with the International Commission of Jurists since 2021.
