CAIT (Centro de Apoyo a las Identidades Trans)
CAIT is a civil society organization legally constituted in 2011 that works to ensure the fulfillment and exercise of the human rights of trans populations through community participation and mobilization strategies, peer education, and evidence-based political advocacy. It provides support and referrals to trans people in emergency situations in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, prioritizing those who are most precarious such as migrants, victims of violence, people with disabilities or illnesses, and older adults.
