Chapter Four Uganda
Chapter Four Uganda is an independent non-profit organization established in 2013 that defends civil liberties in Uganda. It works in communities, courts, and parliament to promote freedom of expression, association, and peaceful assembly, advance criminal justice reform, challenge torture and degrading treatment, and advocate for equality and non-discrimination for minority groups. The organization provides legal responses, supports human rights defenders, and engages in strategic litigation and advocacy.
