Georgia Equality
Georgia Equality is an advocacy organization that has been working since 1995 to advance the civil rights of LGBTQ+ Georgians and those living with HIV. It focuses on policy change at state and local levels across Georgia, addressing issues such as transgender advocacy, hate crime protections, HIV/AIDS health equity, non-discrimination protections, LGBTQ youth and safe schools, parental rights, housing justice, and marriage equality. The organization also organizes events like AIDS Walk Atlanta and encourages volunteering and donations.
