gi.jp (Japan GID Society)
gi.jp, formerly known as gid.jp, is a support and advocacy group for people with gender identity disorder, gender dysphoria, and gender incongruence in Japan. It organizes peer support meetings, provides telephone and email counseling by licensed psychologists who are themselves transgender, and offers information on gender transition. The organization also advocates for legal changes and promotes a society where transgender individuals can live according to their gender identity.
