Guardians of Equality Movement (GEM) is Syria's first LGBTQIA+ organization, operating in Syria and neighboring countries. Founded and led by Syrian activists, human rights defenders, survivors, and victims from the LGBTQIA+ community, it aims to prevent the recurrence of suffering and violations and to protect others. The organization provides support, advocacy, and campaigns in response to crises affecting the community.
