Movimento Identità Trans (MIT) is one of the most important and oldest LGBTQ+ associations in Italy, based in Bologna. It offers psychological support through its counseling service, a harm reduction project for sex workers called Via Luna, and a help desk for LGBT+ migrants. The organization also runs anti-discrimination and anti-violence centers, provides legal support, and advocates for trans rights.
