Pan Africa ILGA
Pan Africa ILGA is a federation of over 300 LGBTIQ+ organizations across all 54 African countries, working to advance human rights based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics. Founded in 2007 and registered as a non-profit in South Africa in 2015, it serves as the African regional body of ILGA World. The organization focuses on movement building, advocacy and legal reform, engaging with human rights mechanisms, and research and capacity building.
