Suriname Men United (SMU)
Suriname Men United (SMU) is a foundation in Suriname that works for the well-being and health of men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender persons (TG). It provides information and education to help prevent the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, and works to improve the observance of human rights in Suriname, such as the right to health. SMU offers free HIV testing and counseling, psychosocial help, legal advice, and a safe space for MSM and TG individuals.
