The Alwan Foundation
Organization Qatar Asia
Alwan Foundation is the first LGBTQ+ rights organization for the Gulf, established in 2022. It documents human rights violations, advocates for policy change, and provides confidential support to LGBTQ+ people at risk in all six Gulf states. The organization is independent and community-led, free of Gulf government funding.
