A report by eleven Kenyan organizations documented over 2,100 cases of violence, harassment, and discrimination against sexual and gender minorities between October 2023 and September 2024. Transgender persons reported the highest number of violations at 708 cases. The report calls on the government to repeal discriminatory Penal Code provisions and reject laws criminalizing LGBTIQ+ identities.
