Pan Africa ILGA is a federation of over 300 LGBTIQ+ organizations across 54 African countries, founded in 2007 and registered as an NPO in South Africa in 2015. It works through four strategic pillars: movement building, advocacy and legal reform, engagement with human rights mechanisms, and research and capacity building. The website provides information on its programs, milestones, and news, useful for activists, researchers, and policymakers tracking LGBTIQ+ rights in Africa.
