Argentina's Gender Identity Law allows self-determined gender recognition

阿根廷的性别认同法（第26.743号法律）于2012年颁布，确立了自我感知性别认同的权利，允许个人无需手术、激素治疗或司法批准即可请求更改官方文件上的法定姓名、形象和性别。该法律还保障成年人获得性别肯定医疗保健，并要求尊重所选姓名。2025年的一项法令修改了第11条，明确禁止未成年人接受此类医疗干预。
