Violence against LGBTQ+ people in Uganda escalates under Anti-Homosexuality Act

乌干达《反同性恋法》于2023年5月签署，对“严重同性恋行为”判处死刑，对其他相关罪行判处终身监禁，并要求公民举报疑似同性恋行为。自该法实施以来，针对LGBTQ+群体的袭击、驱逐和警察骚扰激增，民间社会组织记录了超过140起事件。该法律还因医生的恐惧而阻碍了LGBTQ+群体获得医疗服务。尽管已发起法律挑战，但活动人士表示，社会伤害已经根深蒂固。
